Mission Statement

The Water, Gas and Light Commission was formed in 1912 to bring electricity, natural gas and water to the citizens of Albany, Georgia. Public Power was a sign of progress that contributed to the growth of our community. Today, we deliver reliable, economical energy and water throughout our city.

Our mission is to provide reliable cost-competitive services to residential and commercial customers throughout our city.
