 WG&L serves over 27,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers with natural gas.We buy when prices are low, with the supplier storing the product until it is needed. This insures that our customers pay the lowest possible price for our service.
WG&L's gas customers are served by 395 miles of gas mains, 32 regulator stations and 19,000 service lines. Currently the gas department employs 24 people, who construct, replace and maintain gas delivery lines. The department also installs and repairs gas meters.
Our customer service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. WG&L's emergency response time is usually under 5 minutes.
